Los Angeles doesn't need another middle-6 LW -- that's all the Kings have there -- and just like your construction, Sean Walker is penciled in as the Kings' #2 RD, so Los Angeles won't be trading him.

With this trade I was thinking LA could then run a top 4 of Dermott-Doughty and UFA-Roy.
In regards to Johnsson as a middle six LW (I feel Johnsson is a top 6 winger he was just having a down year. His shooting percentage was down 5% from the year prior), Kerfoot could easily be swapped into this trade and Johnsson into the Puljujarvi trade if that seems like a better fit.

As for LA's defensive pairings with the addition of Dermott their top four is much more rounded Dermott-Doughty, Ryan/Hutton/Anderson-Roy.

Dermott for Lizotte wouldn't bother me, but I don't think we're interested in trading away any of our young defensemen. I think we're going to use this year to evaluate who we have in the backcourt.
