agreed. i think they would trade Eriksson + a prospect + low picks to get rid of him but they are not pulling a TML to get rid of him. they aren't that desperate.... yet
plus they are not enough of a contender to fully abandon prospects and development in pursuit of a cup

Eriksson is a decent $3M player...eat 1/2 his contract then see what you can get back.
