Trades:

1st OA pick to ARI for Domi, Strome, 7th OA and 20th OA
-I wouldn't do this trade at all. Starting point is OEL and both 1st rounders IMO

JVR to NJ for the 11th OA
-I would do this trade but only if our guy is still on the board

Bozak and Corrado for Methot and a 4th rd.
-We need a D they need a better 2nd/3rd line C

Leivo, Bibeau and WSH 2nd rd for MAF
-Pens need to clear up their potential goalie problem with expansion coming up.

      Very interesting... However, these trades are not, in any way, accurate rumors. They are pulled out of nowhere by unreliable sources with no credentials whatsoever. Makes for fun predictions, but they aren't anywhere near being realistic.

      Definition of a rumour.

      ARI trade will never happen.
      I can see the NJD trade but only if a big name slides.
      OTT...not so much but its fun to think of.
      PIT's may not be so far fetched but I don't think TML is interested in MAF at the moment

      Idk why Toronto fans scoff at the trade for Matthews; you already have Nylander and Marner who have potential for a 1C, then you add in this trade Domi and Strome who are top-6 with Strome as 1C potential, AND you add Stamkos who's a 1C. You then add another 1st round pick to that in Jones (idk him) and you guys are absolutely set and fill out your roster long term instead of one guy. I just say you guys win that trade

      Unfortunately they are just rumours and none of the other teams would consider them.

      FYI Bibeau would need to be protected or lost just like Fleury. If they trade Fleury they will likely want help now.

      Agreed they are just rumours but.......

      Bibeau has 0.0% chance of being drafted in the expansion draft. Way too many goalies ahead of him in line to be selected (Vasilevsky or Bishop in TB, Fleury or Murray in PIT just to name 2 out of the 30 teams). They have Jarry(?) in the minors and they get a decent 3rd line winger and a 2nd rd pick. Not a bad haul for a guy you could lose for nothing.

      And the ARI trade was allegedly offered by them. If they want Matthews, they are going to have to pony up on that one.
