I'm just not understanding why MacArthur was placed on LTIR? The man his healthy now.

Why would NJ take Clarkson? At least Clowe is legit LTIR, but Clarkson can be on the salary cap for another four years.

The oilers and devils trades wont happen. The reasoning for the blue jackets to trade for clarkson in the first place is because they wanted to pay someone ******** amounts of money to actually play, rather than paying them not to pay, like nathan horton. So i dont see columbus wanting to trade for Ference or Clowe just to put them on the ltir.
