Yeah, with that kind of deal for Point, you're just pushing back your problem for 1 more year, cause you'll have to deal with new contract for Vasilevskiy and Sergachev.

I believe Tampa shouldnt have extended Gourde and shouldve sold high on him. Not because he isnt good but for money reasons

Just a FYI (I think, not 100%) - I believe that teams can't really provision for offer sheets. If someone makes an offer sheet on Point and he accepts it, TB has like 48 hours to accept or he's gone. They don't have forever to make trades and work the phones to make it work. 2 days isn't enough time to unload big contracts without taking massive concessions on value back and or even overpaying. I mean if you are the other team, why would you actively help TB? every team will want to rape and pillage them as much as possible. No one wants to help the best team in the league stay the best team in the league.
