I would hope that Edmonton learned something from the Fayne and Ference signings... depth defensemen shouldn't be paid handsomely for intangibles. The Oilers are in trouble if signing Luke Schenn is a priority. Also, Griffin Reinhart is basically a proto-Schenn so there's some added redundancy in the move.
