Rags... dg to maple leafs. Not saying realistic, but DG may be ok with it

    Leafs would be better to anticipate a buyout and just sign him to a deal that they want. No way the leafs take on 4 more years with a NMC. JVR will be moved for futures, not the past.

    that's why I added Hayes. He had 46 pts as a rookie, and a sophomore slump. Maybe he can be a 50 pt guy... if it's Kreider instead, do leafs do it? Is that too much for Rangers to give?

    Makes no sense for the leafs, they basically get a significant downgrade in offensive by giving up jvr for hayes, and girardi is definently not good enough to fill in that gap in trade value. He's really negative trade value at this point, even at 2 millon retained. Just dead cap.

    No Eastern Conference is going to help the Rangers and their salary cap. Girardi has no value to the Leafs even at 3.4m, especially if they give up any assets. Where would Girardi play on the Leafs defence lets say in 2017. He couldn't make the team.
