Chia continually becoming my favorite gm in the league. As a kid who wants to be a gm of a team someday, I look at him as a source of inspiration and motivation. If he can continually do this I have 100% confidence that I can
I wish I was a NHL GM. I would literally call the Oilers GM daily and ask if he has any players he wants to trade.
HAHAHA! Clearly it's discount season at the Chiarelli store. Like I've been saying all along, Chiarelli is desperate to save his career. If he gets fired from EDM he'll like never work another top front office job in his career. He's trying to salvage the season at any cost w/ no regard for the future of the franchise.
Some trades in Armchair GM are better than this. Chiarelli is the worst GM in the league and it's not even close.
Worst GM in pro sports. He's the only GM who could have not one, not two, but three superstars (McDavid, Draisaitl, & Hall) and screw it all up. And don't forget trading Seguin from BOS while he was still on an ELC. Nice job. I wouldn't hire this guy to manage a Walmart.
Edmonton needed wingers and actual good d-men, but Chia decided he'd go out and acquire the guy that broke McDavid's collar bone during his rookie season.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Chiarelli was shopping Jesse Puljujärvi. If he had the cap space to add a veteran D or Winger the Oiler's #4 overall pick would already be playing for a team like CHI or PHI.

C'mon managing a Walmart is tougher. You have hundreds of employees over three shifts, seven days a week. All Chia has to do is keep track of his 23 players on the roster, and he doesn't do that well

I'll never understand how this guy still has a job. Every single move he makes is wrong. And what a slap in the face to McDavid by trading for Manning who cost him the Calder in 2015-16.
