IMO you are more of a cup team if you make neither trade, as you could get those players for much cheaper. Stetcher is far better than Honka currently. Swinging Baer to CBJ for Jenner could be beneficial. Hutton has been excellent this year defensively, and I think that he fits the team better in the future then Gardiner. Gardiner is far superior offensively, but Juolevi and Hughes are going to take those duties away. Honestly trading away Tanev and Goldobin might be a better bet. Goldobin’s return will be solid, and Tanev could get us an A RD prospect if packaged. We could use the remaining space to sign a high end RD. We could even take a swing at Karlsson, but I think that we’d be more likely to get Myers. A lineup of this is a playoff lock.
