    unfortunately i can see it happening

    i would love stamkos but those odds are marginal at best

    no way we can lose datsyuk and replace top line centre with larkin and zetterberg is done in that role and even though i know staal isnt a #1 centre anymore he would be given that role with us(at least to start)

    Eric Staal in the right situation with the right linemates could work out. I do think Staal will probably get a "showme" contract tho not multiple years at 5 per. I don't think his tank is empty yet.
