i've not met these fans

plenty of fans from other teams on this site do trades for price to their teams from our POV but that isnt us trading him

Haven't really. It was a retaliation I seen for a trade Nylander post by a Habs fan. Lol

we dont want him either .
2019 is the most stacked draft since 2003 with tons of Centers .
MTL wants picks this year because Poehling and Suzuki will likely start next year .

Poehling just had surgery to correct his breathing leading to a surge in offense with 5 points in 6 games from a center pegged as a third line defensive Center good for bulk faceoffs similar to a Lars Eller .

Suzuki was our 2nd best Center all training camp with only Plekanec ahead of him.Had Kotkanemi went back to Liiga its a fair assumption to think Suzuki would have been in MTL this year because unlike all our Centers he could win Faceoffs ,Carry the puck into the OZ and help contribute offensively .

the only way i see MTL taking on a Center is if its someone like JG Pageau who can handle 1000-1200 faceoffs at 53-55% with 125-150 hits a year in a 2nd Center Position as it would help MTL gain Speed and Possession.(with the upside being he'll be a UFA next summer meaning we can use him now while we need him then flip him next year when the kids come up)
