The term is fine but the price is too much. 3 years for a 5.5 million AAV would have made more sense but, at least they picked up a top 6 forward after losing Perron and (maybe-at the time he's unsigned) Neal.

Seems like he screwed the Jets over a bit after saying that waiving his NTC to go to WPG was the best decision he ever made. They then seemed to be clearing cap space to make room for him and he choose Vegas. Either way seems like an overpayment.
