    How do u fit Mathews greater than eichel less than mcdavid contract in there with karlsson 8 million plus contract next season and marner as a after thought

    You cant, especially since nylander will get more than the 4.9 he signed him for, also not sure why colorado would need Martin, doesnt fit sakic plan of speed

    2019 cap should 85 million, have 35 to spend

    Give Matthews 11 million over 8.
    Give Karlsson 9 over 7.
    Give Marner 6.5 over 6.

    Fill remains with youth and dumpster fill the rest.

    Fair enough but the hole in your draft board is going to burn u unless u scrape the bottom of the barrel with veteran min numbers to make up for any retirements or age out speed wise

    So what's so important about this # 1 Dman. Doughty didn't win a first round this year, Pietrangelo, Parayko never made the playoffs, Karlsson never made the playoffs. A big overpayment for a rental.
