Not accurate value in the MTL trade. Florida would have to give up a lot more for two 30 goal scorers, Alzner is still an NHL player despite his over paid salary, so he still does hold some value.

Borgstrom+1st=Patches. We’ve had that established for a while. Adding Galch and Alz to the deal would require adding more. Prob adding Malgin and Brickley to the deal could work.

Borgström for Patches one for one was denied at the deadline, and now his value is less because we only get one playoff run with him instead of you. You habs fans are absolutely out of your minds on how much you think he’s worth

Ok, 1st of all, not a Habs fan. Think Price is very overrated and the franchise in general as well. 24 cups, but they’ve only won few of those in the bigger NHL (u know, the one that has more than like 6 teams).
2nd of all, u realize Patches has had 1 bad year, but he’s a 30 goal scorer, and it’s not like he’s 35.

Im not saying you are wrong in asking for Borgstrom. Its just not gonna happen. If the Habs need Borgstom for Patches, then the Panthers move on from him. we have plenty of offensive talent coming up or via free agency. we dont need to give up what is prolly our top prospect for a guy who can help us win for a few years. that my opinion anyway.
