Nas have a great team I don't see them skaking things that much.. For O'Reilly, you will have to pay way much (in my view).

Remember ROR isnT happy and probably wants out. Gallly is a sniper with upside. Lindgren is a nice add in.quote=Darkale;416270]Nas have a great team I don't see them skaking things that much.. For O'Reilly, you will have to pay way much (in my view).[/

Price would wave it to go to a contender and rejoin Subban. Can't forget no state tax.

If O'Reilly ask to move, Mtl must be on it. Take out the early second and the offer is fair (Mtl pov).

Lindgren last four month game's declined. At this point of his career I would be careful with him.

dont know why he would leave weber. he didn't like subban apprently. its all doom and gloom in mtl, but ppl forget that we legit only need 2-3 peices to be in contention again. a center and a lhd. defense will be diff next year with juulsen, mete and rielly. add a top lhd to that mix and thats a really good d. we have a ton of good young wingers. just need a top 6 center. ideally 2 centers, but one is good though

IMO Price is frustrated and will welcome a trade to a contender with an aging goalie at the helm.

no. if he was, he would be gone by now. his contract doesnt kick in till july i think. he would have requested a trade by now, and been traded.

look. lets be real. do u really think that mtl would even consider trading their franchise goalie? i mean if u trade him, ur not replacing him, no matter how stacked ur team is. ask carolina, philly, dallas and even the isles how hard it is to find a good goalie. this team needs 2 pieces. and those are attainable. idk if u listened to yesterdays presser or not, but molson truly cares for the team. and it seems like bergy is on a short leash. he has this offseason to improve the team. he has the assets and the opportunity to do so. a pacioretty trade, some ufa signings and a top 5 draft pick would go a long way for this team. im 100% sure that if bergy doesnt fix the team this offseason, and they dont make the playoffs next year, bergys gone. also the owner seems in on bergys plan, and he seems interested in signing tavares. price and weber are two of the biggest reasons why we have a good chance at signing tavares if he hits free agency. just go search up the latest nhl player polls that were conducted this january. look where price and weber rank and what 500 other current nhl players think of them and mtl. you'd be surprised. cheers

Mngmt. has to fix Price's attitude or the team will be back where they are now, Pacioretty and Galch. also. This is why I would trade the core.

While I agree Galchenyuk is a great young player, O'Reilly is much better and centers usually are more important than wingers. Yes the 2nd is way over the top, I do not know much about Lindgren (I know he is one of MTL top prospects), and he had 3 great games in 2015-2017, then this year he had been very average, regardless I think BUF would pass on getting a GK, IMO they will make Ullmark the #1 GK next year. Throw a different prospect (that you think will be a starter, maybe Noah Juulsen) then I think Botterill would listen. I saw you posted this trade twice, I think if you refine it as many have suggested it could work.

The trades are bold but I don't mind them, TBH. Maybe a little tweak here or there to balance it out....bur if you look at the line-up...it looks a lot better to me than this year's version.

The Price-Rinne deal has a lot of risk to it. Montreal is getting a top 6 centre and a top 2 LHD along with a vezina winning goaltender. The biggest red flag is the obvious...Rinne is older but cheaper and you're not sure how many years he has left. That being said...$10.5 for Price could just as easily turn into a smart deal as it could turn into an awful one...especially if injuries keep taking him out of the lineup for a chunk of the season.

ROR is an interesting case and I've commented a lot on him the last 24hrs. I think he brings tremendous value as a second line C....and I think Buffalo trades him this off-season...but I just don't think they'll get the return they're hoping for. The guy has an 'A' on his sweater but gets in front of a mic and says playing in Buffalo this year has taken his love of the game away? There's enough of a need for top 6 centres around the league that Buffalo will get a good return...I just don't see a big over payment.

Buf needs a left handed sniper which is what Gal brings to the table. He and ROR need a change of scenery. Buf is already strong down the middle with Eichel and Midlestadt. A good back up goalie (Lindgren) could compliment Ullmark. He could develop as a top goalie. MTL and BUF need a change of attitude and these changes might be necessary to address this situation. I wish MTL had a LD to trade but don't.

Yes we do, I agreed with you, but BUF does not need a back up GK, so add a different prospect and please drop the 2nd going to MTL.
