Which part the trade or where to go for Wings & Weck.

I think I will have to build a team with this trade being the center piece.

Yeah, I think the Sabres would jump on this, if for nothing else than to get out from Okposo's contract. I actually think this is a trade that works well for both teams, but NYI would be overpaying.

Well we will have to agree to disagree as I am a Duff's loyalist. I can no longer eat em in the soup of hot sauce.

Detroit easily declines weren't eating any salary for the next 4 year on Fran Nielsen, And why would he return back to the Islanders he joined Detroit for a reason?

My guess is that he left Isles because he wasn't happy with the ice time he got there. But in this team after Tavares leaving he'd get more ice time as the most experienced offensive C.

Would you do the trade if there were no retaining on his salary?

Yeah us fans would love to unload on Nielsen contract, Not sure what a fair deal would involve between the Islanders and Wings. Doubt we'd even retain for that long on Franzy Ken Holland isn't one to retain long term on player. Only on ending contracts like Mrazek.

Flyers decline. Provorov isn't going anywhere. He lead all NHL defensemen in goals, lead our team in PK icetime as well as icetime in general, and is just a fantastic 1D overall.

Say, is it value wise ok? Two high first round draft picks, a forward prospect and a d prospect for him. Like, if you had to trade him, is the value ok?

No. He's a cost-controlled asset who's already playing at elite #1D levels on a team still pretty desperate for defense. Someone high end would have to be involved for it to even be considered.
