Danault will get around $3.5M and that's a terrible return for Pacioretty, especially if you're including two 2nd rounders. MB will want more than a roll of the dice on Veleno if he's trading away Patch. I can see them packaging picks and a roster player to move up, but I don't see 67 involved in that deal.

925,000 would be the signing amount for both those draft picks. And I think your over paying for the 10th overall pick. Max by himself is more realistic, not with two second round picks on top of that.

IMO CAR is not interested in Pacioretty. They have Aho and Skinner already on LW. None of those guys should be playing 3rd line and neither should MP. They're looking for a top C. But in the scenario above, you've overpaid and for what you're getting in return for MP

You are assuming you win the draft lottery and get Dahlin. I think Pacioretty and 1 second round pick would be enough but Carolina doesn't need it. Dahlin and Veleno should get 925 000 a year
