3.
MTL
  1. Bjugstad, Nick
  2. 2018 1st round pick (FLA)
Additional Details:
Rights to Henrik Borgstrom - I get it he is good but Florida has not has a goal scorer as good as Patcioretty since Bure left and it would instantly make their top six lethal. Add the fact that they are deep down the middle, young down the middle and skilled down the middle it helps swallow that pill.
FLA
  1. Carr, Daniel
  2. Pacioretty, Max
  3. 2018 2nd round pick (WSH)
4.
MTL
  1. 2018 1st round pick (NYI)
Additional Details:
I think to show Tavares they want to win the Islanders move one of their firsts. Calgary doesn’t look likely to make the playoffs and the islanders do hence giving up their later pick instead of te earlier pick
NYI
  1. Shaw, Andrew
  2. 2018 2nd round pick (TOR)

I don't see Florida including Borgstrom AND Bjugstad. Bjugstad's playing on their top line right now, so if the idea is to add to the Top 6, Bjugstad is a no go.

Agreed but I don’t think they want to add to their top 6. They want to improve it, but that’s just my reasoning.

You'd be taking away their C depth if you took both Bjugstad and Borgstrom. IMO considering how high Borgstroms potential is ( according to reports, also reports that state that he's NHL ready), I don't think you'll be getting that kind of return (Borg, Bjug and the 1st).
