No way Kovalchuk signs with anyone for $6M. He's no Jagr. There has never been a fire in his belly, just a hunger in his wallet. No thanks.

You're underselling Galchenyuk. Even in a lousy year, he has more points and is more versatile. Make the trade, maybe, but keep the pick.

Canucks just signed Gudbranson. They don't need another stay-at-home Dman, and even if they did, Alzner is not worth two players.
