I wasn't sure about this one too... but IDK Anisimov has spent the whole season on their third line even though he was expected to play with Kane on the second line when they resigned him. Seems like he's underperforming this year and that he might need a new start while Shaw (who is still loved by the Hawks fanbase) is having an OK year with an not-so-OK team.. might be a win-win situation

Just a little clarification. AA has NOT spent the entire season on the third line. He was their 2nd line center until December 29th where he went to IR and Schmaltz came in and played really well. Consequently Anisimov came back on January 22nd and has for 7 days/4 games...played the 3rd line center.

Patches and a first for dubois and Murray is fine. But Alzner and Johnson money is similar except ur burdening them with Alzner contract now then adding in Schlemko. Basically cap dump for you so you would have to give or cut out
