I think you're on the right track, but my guess is Ottawa would insist on a high end young guy like Vrana if they're going to move Karlsson and Hoffman

If it was Hoffman... I think I'd do it if I was Washington

Canucks might do that but we dont need chorney. The second round pick is just fine in my opinion. Any idea to acquire karlsson is a good one, hes a phenomenal player that can make any team better. Every team and fan should want him.

idk if ott wants oshies huge contract he also has a ntc......but the value is def there imo

Make it:

Burakovsky, John Carlson, Bowey, Gustaffson, and a 1st Rounder...for...
Karlsson, Hoffman, and a 5th round pick.

That's a top-6 forward and a prospect forward, a Top-2 defenseman and a high-potential developing HL defenseman, and a first rounder. I think that return is comparable.
