why does washington trade a solid young player and bowey plus a first for a lw that we dont need?

Idk why everyone thinks we need Burakovsky. He’s not that great and hasn’t been good this season. We proved we can win without him. Get a solid piece for him

Montreal would jump on that!
Burakovsky + a 2nd round pick should get you Pacioretty... never trade your first pick.

burk is the 2nd youngest player on the team and hes coming off an injury>? maybe wait till hes 23-24 before you dumb him.....ppl like you are why we dumped forsberg also who do you get fpr him you dont laterally trade so you downgrade or get a draft pick that you have to develop


also patches is not having a great year......

I would be open to trading Burakovksy if we got a solid option like Pacioretty, but we don’t need to add that much. Also no need for Buffalo to make that deal
