Overall good team and balanced. But you would not be able to sign both of Tavares and Doughty. Doughty is getting 10, that is accurate, but Matthews is getting 10,5-11. Tavares 10,5-12, Nylander, Marner both 6,5-7 and you would be in a lot of trouble, since Grundstrom, Liljegren, Dermott, Brown (CB would get more, around 3-3,5) and you would not be able to grow the team. I think that Doughty signing would be better, because it would fulfill the needs of Toronto. And Tavares will stay Islander, as Stamkos did with Tampa.

Pretty much what is said above. Also I doubt the cap is at 84 million in 2 Years.

laugh laugh Nylander and Marner at least $6.5 million Matthews $12 million Tavares $11 million and Doughty probably $10.5 million That's like $45.5 million for 5 players good luck not being in cap hell for the foreseeable future.

It could be close to $82 million by the 2019/2020 season but yeah i doubt it's $84 million.

It is so unrealistic that the Leafs will be able to afford so many "stars" without squeezing the stars salaries or the the bottom end players. As you indicated the cap will rise, so why to Tavares and Matthews sign for under what other teams would pay them.?
