Interesting.... I dont think OTT is willing to do that though. yes theyre getting a 1st rd pick in return but Sutter isnt that productive, Juolevi is injured (who knows whether he can bounce back from injury or not), and Goldobin is.... well Goldobin. Hes inconsistent and cant defend sometimes. I dont think TOR is willing to trade a good prospect dman, and a 1st rounder for Edler (whos on an expiring contract) and Granlund (a depth grinder)

We'd need a lot more to grab Mark Stone from Ottawa imo, I get that guys like Skinner, Pacioretty, and Evander Kane (alo Mike Hoffman lulz) haven't been too tilted in terms of value going the other way but Mark Stone is one of those "missing" pieces this team needs going forward. Dude's a PPG TWF player, that Stone, Turris, Hoffman line was dirt nasty. Stone's one of the top LW's in the game right now. Homie had 62 points in 58 games last year, and he's 50 for 50 right now. That being said, Mark Stone has shown interest in staying in Ottowa, Sens management would need a lot more convincing. Also Dzingle's stock has risen in the past two seasons he could honestly get a mid 1st to a 2nd pick right now.

Toronto doesn't need another older LHD in Edler, he's been great for us I don't see why we should trade him now to expose further holes in our defense on our "run" to the playoffs. Pretty sure Dubas isn't about to throw a prospect, a roster player, and a 1st for Edler and Granlund.
