    I think Jokiharju is doing just fine as he is. The only reason that players get sent down “to develop” is to get more playing time rf develop confidence.

    Jokiharju doesn’t have a confidence issue.

    Jokiharju has developed just fine, he is playing top pair minutes against top pair competition. Not to mention he is playing well in most situations. He is a rookie, and so having him in the NHL to learn and play is crucial. Sending him down to Rockford does nothing and could possibly hurt his development into a legitimate top 2 defensman.
