Description
Watching Nashville this year in the playoffs showed that while they are an elite team, they are still missing some pieces. A true elite #1 C, better 3rd pairing and another skilled top 6 forward.

While I still think Rinne is an elite starter, I think the Preds could survive by moving him (if he would waive NTC) and that 7 million could go a long way

    I think Johansen is better then you think and is a number one center, he dud after all lead the preds in playoff points..... the problem was the second line did nothing vs the jets.... I think Turris was awful in this series... Tolvanen will be a top 6 forward next year and probably play on the second line but if he’s not, I think they’d resign Neal before trading for Pacioretty, also I’m nit sure why they would want to trade for Grubauer.... if Rinne isn’t the starter they’d likely give the net to Saros..... also I thimpnk with the long trem plan Irwin and Weber will say as the 5th and 6th Dmen because if the low contract they’re on so that they can resign Ellis.... so Russell and Benn wouldn’t be nessacary, also Benn ends up in Dallas with his bro. Although I’m not sure it’s happens but the Philly trade would work for both teams, Nashville gets rid of the 7 million and a backup and philly gets a great mentor for Hart fir a few years till he’s ready to be the number one there. The last thing is Tavares, I think he works in Nashville and would be amazing there. Tavares and Johansen would be a lot like Malkin and Crosby in Pittsburgh.... that being said I think Tavares signs in San Jose or back in New York.
