I think Washington would have to say no to that trade. Vrána is the best forward the caps have on an ELC and he’s getting better. It’s not worth trading him to get Orpik off the books a year early, even with Scandella coming back.

Quick pass on sending that for Klefbom. Instead, trade Beaulieu/Bogosian, Larsson, whatever pick we get from San Jose and Brandon Hagel
