Vegas probably does want a forward to replace Marchasseult but their defense doesn't look like it needed any work and they got 8-guys already. They revamped their goalie tandem with Hill and Samsonov but probably got their future tandem of Samsonov and Schmid. Holtz could be a wild card big addition on the ELC. So, maybe they do go after Marner (or whoever the top F who becomes available is) eventually but I think the Leafs start with him. Vegas could add Tarasenko for now to replace Marchasseult.

If the Leafs were to get Theodore, I don't think he's playing with Rielly, Rielly and Tanev will likely be attached at the hip as long as Tanev has hips. He would probably play with McCabe which would spread out their wealth, and he would be with OEL when they pair McCabe with Hakanpaa/Benoit for a shutdown pair.
