I could see the Hawks accepting that deal, although I wouldn’t be surprised to see Davidson hold out for a 1st round pick.

If you retain 50% on Nelson, and find some other team at the TDL, you might get a 1st. Nashville is not that team at this point, not the best use of our 1st for a 32 year old making 6mil in the last year of his deal.

Not sure they would give up their own very early 3rd round pick though for 2 late to middle 2nds

the idea is that if lee preforms well, then they send the 3rd back. but if the fall off continues, Chicago keeps the 3rd
