Description
Fair value for all trades only one that could be iffy would be the flyers but I think they will lean into wanting to rebuild after a bad end to last season and a few younger guys coming up. jarnknrok would be a trade piece during mid season or in a year for them to get even more assets (i dont see him as a - value hes a solid 3rd liner who would be playing 2nd line mins and probably pair'd with some solid talent to up his trade value.
marner trade is self explanatory, kampf is a - value but not a crazy - value and for a team thats gonna be near the cap floor it would make sense to get a few late picks. same with reaves he fits the Wsh playstyle theyve had and a 4th and 7th seem like good enough offsetting value for a 4th liner at best.
would be open to thoughts but if ur gonna be special then dont bother :D

  1. Larsson, Adam ($1,500,000 retained)
Additional Details:
(retention would be from a 3rd team not sure who shouldnt take much more then a 3rd for a team like Uta or chi)
Seattle isnt in a win now so moving someone who may walk for a young depth player who played very well last year and can easily fill a 3rd line role for a few years and a young good prospect to replace larsson will help build for the future)
SEA
  1. McMann, Bobby
  2. Niemelä, Topi
  3. 2026 3rd round pick (TOR)
5.
TOR
  1. Roy, Nicolas
  2. Theodore, Shea
Additional Details:
With hertl, eichel, karlsson, and howden (+ anyone they sign and players coming up) Roy is extremely moveable as a 3rd line C/2nd line winger and Theodore is already being shopped due to the log jam at D, marner would fill a first line RW role while stone takes his vacation each year heading into the playoffs and being surrounded by so much talent i could easily see him becoming a star in the playoffs (rather then choking like normal)

Niemelä's an interesting prospect, but he's a very different type of defender than Larsson, so he's not likely to be able to replace what Larsson does directly in the long run. McMann could be a good depth scorer if he replicates his past season, but that's no guarantee and not something worth sacrificing a top four RHD for, even though Seattle could use more scoring help.

Overall, the package as a whole really isn't enticing enough to get Seattle to move Larsson in the offseason. He'd net them more than this as a deadline rental, and that's assuming Seattle would even be willing to trade him. They're aiming for a postseason return, and Larsson will be a key contributor to that. I doubt Seattle is going to be all that open to dealing him given that fact.

Laughton might be worth a 1st according to GMs but dude come on lol Cowan and a 2nd that could be a 1st? Now that’s wild lol I’d drive him to Toronto

i dont see laughton resigning long term and i think cowan is a pretty overrated prospect. Tor is in a win now not win in 2030 mode so adding a good 3rd liner with decent size and a solid deal is way more valuable then a pick and prospect. if they dont win within the next few years its probably getting fully blown up

main idea was Seattle needs scoring help and hes someone that shouldnt cost much to bring back, giving them a very solid at worst 3rd liner for the next 4-5 years which is right in line when matty shane and a lot of there other prospects either braking into the show or fully having breakout years or already being stars. I dont think looking at this year is great as making the playoffs would be cool but it doesnt mean anything if they get first rounded. Im not sure many teams will sell the house and give up first + for a 2nd line RD who has never really had a massive step up in the playoffs for any team hes been on. hes solid and i think he could get a decent return but i couldnt see much more then a solid D prospect (even if he plays a different style) a solid middle 6 player who will be cheap to keep for a while and a pick.

Kampf is far from a cap dump.

Caps take the free picks when we can just bury Reaves in the minors.

Liljegren is worth more.

I like Laughton but we’re not moving Cowan for him. We could move Minten instead and add in a second, or just move #23.
