I know I know shocker Cayden Lindstrom to 10 is highly unlikely but here’s my projection on how the top 10 goes.
SAN JOSE: Celebrini obvious choice
CHICAGO: Demidov hard to pass up on the potential to have a top 5 forward duo
ANAHEIM: Levshunov, trading drysdale works out as they find their franchise RHD1 with their 3OA pick
COLUMBUS: Silayev future top pair partner for Jiricek that will create a very destructive 2 way pairing. plus Russian connection// ensure no one leaves. I see werenski being a future trade chip as severson is most likely unmoveable and Silayev* Jiricek, Mateychuk will fill the rest of the top 4. I can see them holding on a C till they know what they have with Fantilli/ Johnson/ Sillinger/Voronkov/ Brindley plus 2025 holds a good crop of centers in Hagens/Frondell/Misa/Ryabkin/McQueen
MONTREAL: Catton I see Montreal pulling a normal Montreal move and making a shocking pick whether it be Catton or sennecke I see them going off the board especially with the way MSL has been able to develop young players might aswell go for best fit
UTAH: Parekh lots of good dmen will be available with this pick but I see Utah looking for the guy that will create the most hype and offence is what does that. Parekh being RH also makes him a bigger gem to find
OTTAWA: Yakemchuk Ottawa gets desperate for a RHD and takes Yakemchuk. His size shot and physicality are all intriguing traits and I think Ottawa will opt for him over Dickinson/Buium who are looked at as higher potential prospects just due to their need for RHD
SEATTLE: Dickinson, Seattle snags arguably the 2nd best dman in this class. They have quite a great forward prospect pool but they lack a d prospect who could log big minutes like Dunn. Selecting Dickinson solidifies their LH side Dunn/ Dickinson/ Evans
CALGARY: Iginla I don’t think flames could pass up on the opportunity to do something truly special here.
