No to the Orlov trade, he's way more important than the futures you might get because he is the reason Nikishin might sign at the conclusion of the season.

Why would you trade for Bean and hen not sign him?

Guentzel contract might be a little short, but I don't hate it. WAY too much for Barabanov, he might get league minimum, he's being kicked off the worst team in the NHL. I don't hate the Kane contract. Monahan is a bad idea, he's made of glass. Pavelski contract is bad, he's been smacked by father time this postseason. OEL might be a little on the expensive side but I don't hate it. WAY too much for Martinook, he might make half that. Hakanpaa, Fustafsson, and Ghosot I don't mind as much.

Patrick Kane isn't signing that cheaply.

If Shayne Gostisbehere was willing to sign for 3 x $4,700,000 Detroit would already have re-signed him. he's going to get closer to 3 x $5,500,000 if not slightly more.

I'd be a little surprised if Waddell valued KK. That move/signing has screamed Dundon intervention since the start
