Description

Bc, as u can see, the Sabres are already in trouble just trying to pay the talent they already have for the ‘25-26 season
All they can really do here (that’s significant) is buy out Skinner, which i think is actually likely

But then they need to find a top9 winger for around $1mil

Obviously that’s possible
But adding a guy like Konecny or Buchnevich (or whoever else) that’ll have a significant Cap Hit just isn’t reasonable for this offseason

They won’t add any one significant, but Jokiharju will be traded this off-season he’s not good and will cost 3.5-4, can’t see Byram making 7 million unless his defensive play improves and produces at a higher rate.

You are paying Byram and Quinn too much. Quinn may get a bridge deal unless he has a dominant year which he could. But I could see a bridge

Skinner buyout.
Byram hasn't even earned a 6M x 2yr bridge yet let alone that money, he's so TBD it's crazy.
Quinn 4.5M x 2yr bridge solves a lot of problems.
You're creating problems here.
