Trading Cernak is a mistake, he's not the problem. i also don't see Nashville having any interest at all in trading Evangelista.
Utah also declines that, they have no shortage of 2nd round picks and likely want to trade some of them to improve their blue line, not take away from it.
The Stamkos contract is either too long or too much. Either give him term to bring the AAV down or give him AAV to bring the term down. I would start with offering him 5x5 and go up to 5.5M max. If he wants a higher AAV then lower it to 3 or 4 years
