Krebs and a flip of 2nd round picks is no where near close enough to get any team to take on Skinner and his three remaining seasons at $9m per.

Skinner likely isn't waiving for Chicago with Buffalo so close to making the playoffs. And retaining $8.8m in real money doesn't seem like something Pegula would approve. But if those two things happened, the Hawks might consider this.
