CHI is the least likely team to take Graves contract for so little. CHI might retain on him as a third party for that much, but we really have no need for Ponomarev.

I think Smith is headed to either SJS or CHI.
SJS needs forwards, ones they can possibly flip.
CHI will also need forward help, but no one they want to keep. They could look at him as possible flip bait at TDL.

Hawks obviously decline. Not sure the Pens would pay what it would cost for the Hawks to take on those 5 years left on Graves' contract. Especially since the Hawks don't need a LD.

Sure. That's why I said "might". And it wouldn't be anything significant either. It would be right around the $450k that the proposal has PIT retaining.
