Seattle says no, and not sure we really need Tatar, if we have Holmberg-Kampf-Jarnkrok that’s a pretty darn good shutdown line.

As much as Larson can help, I think that is too much for us to give up for him. As for Seattle, I can see why they say no well. I don't think our forward depth is as bad as everyone makes it out. We are giving out less ice time on average to players that are used to getting more to Domi and Bertuzzi. Both according to advanced stats are playing better than the basic points show. Through the winning streak we gave them more ice time and the results have improved. Add McMann, Jarnkrok, Robertson, Holmberg, and Steeves and Bellows with the Marlies and we have options for depth with ice time and confidence for them.
That leaves us with a partner for Reilly a D we need to make sure not to overpay for him whilst giving the opposing team more than enough that they believe they are getting the better end.

I was looking at team stats. The Leafs and Avs are identical in points, goals for and goals against. Why do so many hate the Leafs Dmen? Gee, shouldn't the Avs be getting Dman for their playoff run?
