I think it is close to fair.

Though TBH, I don't see the Pens or Canes meeting the asking price for Karl.

Sharks biggest need is Goalie prospect, would think the sticking point would be them wanting someone like Blomqvist over Joseph or Poulin.
Other than that the value is close to what I think sharks have to settle with.

Karlsson’s contract is pretty long. No team is gonna eat that many cap space for only a second and a third. And Petry is a cap dump
