I just don’t think this is a realistic return for a sign and trade Cat or to send him in the same division

Hawks decline. They aren't taking on a $3m cap hit for a player they don't need for free.

Sens aren't doing Debrincat for Futures only. Unless they have another trade kind of already in place, they'll be looking to take a player off the roster.
