Description
The Canucks are in a weird spot in the next few years. They have the core pieces to compete, and some interesting College FAs that can fill Bottom 6 and 3rd pairing roles, but there is a good bit to be done. This is my attempt to make the Canucks at least a non wild-card playoff team after what will likely be a huge extension for EP40, and with no choice but to trade Boeser and buyout OEL.

Doubt a lot of those trades would have positive value to teams around the league in the way proposed here.

I'd say it's pretty realistic for Boeser and isn't much on retention for a load of picks. They get an already 40pt guy in Cotter who is young and on an ELC with lots of room to grow. Columbus gets a depth D for basically nothing, Poolman lives on LTIR, AZ is paid to take him for the cap dump, and Chicago gets a good young potential middle 6 piece with much room to grow.

    Welcome to ACGM.

Unfortunately CHI don't need bottom 6 guys and certainly can't afford to be using draft commodity for such players.

Boeser whilst I still think is good, is not worth his contract and that becomes a certain sticking point for a team that is already over the cap and the league knows it.

    Garland, same as above.

The other 2 are irrelevant really.
