Sharks have no interest in that trade. Unless there’s multiple 1sts coming back which there are none here

Really? He isn't that far removed from being a very good player. If he stays healthy and regains some if his form, the Sharks could retain salary and move him for a 2nd or 1st.

The Fish need a rebuild, multiple 2nds and 3rds help that greatly. They are on their way to nowhere fast unless they commit to a rebuild.

The Miller signing was terrible for the Canucks unless they trade him. In this scenario they lose a top 6 but add 2 younger top 6, a young D man, a good backup goalie and GAIN cap space.

Miller is a albatross waiting in the wings to hold down a team with Petterson and Hughes.

Sharks have Vlasic already chewing up cap space for a bottom pairing older D why on earth would we double down for a few mid round picks? Even if it’s fair deal (it’s not) you’re now chewing up 2 spots with old replacement level guys eating up 14 mil of your cap for multiple years and blocking younger guys with upside. Bad team management, development management, and financial management.
