I needed to do a triple take on that CHI trade. Just looks like overcomplicating things. Hawks don't need EDM to retain anything on Foegele's contract. They've got the space easy. But they sure as heck aren't PAYING for him. The best pick in that odd trade is going to EDM. That's not how cap dumps work. EDM will need to pay to get rid of him. How much is debatable, but he's not worth $2.75M.

EDIT, but I totally looked over that STL trade. Quadruple look. No one's paying for Yamamoto either. Certainly no 1sts will be involved.

Agree. Not sure why people always call him a cap dump.
