Description
Please let me know what you think of these trades. The addition of Motte & Schenn would benefit this team defensively as would any other playoff team. Adding Karlsson would be a dream for McDavid & Draisaitl. Obviously they would be tight on money but at the end of the year they gain $2,250,000 from Lucic & Sekera contracts. + $1M from new Salary Cap. ~4M to play with this summer.

    IMO. teams are really overpaying for EK, despite his comeback season.

    The chances the Hawks even have a retention slot to use this season are pretty slim. Kane, Toews, Domi, AA, maybe McCabe, maybe Murphy. They won't diminish their ability to maximize their return on their own assets this trade deadline to help the Oilers. 4 years and almost $14m is a big ask! Takes at least 2 1st's and probably more. I honestly can't see any team doing this much double retention for so long.

    San Jose might as well retain it all if it brings in another 1st and 2nd plus. Change Holloway to Bouchard or maybe add broberg and I’d do it
