Description
Please comment!!!! especially fans of trade partner teams, do you you think the trades are fair?
-Ehlers would be great fit on 1LW, would have to give up a lot and take back salary.
-Oduya, and Kruger are resignable at that price.

-Would perhaps have to give up more to move bickell. Although higher pic and Ross should be able to do it.
-Pavelec would be a good, veteran backup, if Darling cannot take on role.

-Anisimov is more of a 3C than a 2C

-deepest Defense since 2010?

I doubt the leafs do that trade. The 2016 4th rounder will be very early with the 2017 3rd from Chicago being very late. Essentially these picks are close in value so I doubt toronto does Chicago the favor of taking two contracts back one of which people consider a dump
Also I don't think you will get Ehlers, the Jets (and particularly their fans) are very high on him

I think that the Winnipeg deal is more than fair, but like McJesus said above, the Jets are very high on Ehlers.

Im kinda on the fence about the Toronto deal.... I truly doubt Bickel will be traded for that little, and the Leafs have an abundance of cap space so taking his contract shouldn't be a problem

Very solid roster though, especially considering that you have one extra player and 800k in cap space.

I can understand the Jets trade but we have Ehlers on the nearly untouchable list. There's no doubt he'll be one of our franchise players, it would take a lot more than Versteeg and Crawford to entice CHevy to trade him.

The Toronto trade seems a bit lopsided. That's an increidbly low return for those two players together.

Waste of time making this since theres a 0% chance crawford goes anywhere. He has a NMC he definitely isnt waiving anytime soon.

    Absurd.

Crawford laughed at the idea of waiving his FULL NO MOVEMENT CLAUSE.

    AND

The Jets have the goalie of the future in Hellebuyck in the minors 1 more year, another year of legitimate starter Hutchinson on an ELC and another little bit with Pavelec platooning.
