I understand that Marner is a lot younger than Voracek and produces more but taking on 2M more on Marner's contract and retaining on Jake would kill the Flyers cap situation no way that gets done

Bruins trade is interesting... I dont think there is room for Aberg on the roster so i think theyd rather take a pick, but Bracco has some upside. Ultimately, they may rather stick with JFK (though it doesnt seem like he is in their future plans), but its an interesting and fair value deal that i havent seen brought up on here.

JFK is an unknown at this point. Returned to Sweden to deal with some personal stuff and has said he wants to return one day. Didn't really light up the SHL, but I could see him coming back in another 2-3 years as a 3rd liner.

Yup, hopefully he can return to NA sooner rather than later. I also think he could get to the level of a bottom/middle 6 guy, but I just think hes fallen down the depth chart in the org. And in 2-3 years NCAA guys like Hall and Beecher will be pros. It'll be interesting though and i hope he can get back to Providence and get his game on track. Kinda seemed like he hit a snag after his extended call up a couple years back.

Ya I always thought he'd be a solid #2C, but it just never came together early on for him. Beecher and Hall may or may not be factors. Both also play the wing (actually think Beecher would be a better LW), but time will tell.
