    Let's give Sweeney more than a year before we start crying that he is "lost".

    1)Trouba isn't going anywhere, so try and make that move for Shattenkirk.
    2)Neither the team, nor Don Sweeney are "lost" yet. Much as it's fun to play with this thing, minor tweaks could pay off big dividends. Don't lose faith just yet.

    Just dont see where Sweeney is going with things. He has completely missed the boat with Eriksson. Should have took whatever the highest bid was for him at the deadline. It would make it a lot easier to deal for a Shattenkirk, or equivalent, if they had an extra 2nd rounder lying around. Instead they pissed away draft picks on two rentals. The team is loaded with older guys with fat contracts and no movement clauses. I don't see minor tweaks making them a cup contender.
