Any reason for Brown over Steen? I didn’t see last game so not sure how steen played

Seems to soon. Not sure they can give him enough minutes to make it worth it.</div></div>
I did see that Bucci post.
My last post had him coming up and I got roasted for it! Lol.
It may be a bit early but he looked good in pre season. I think he can help the team now. Would love to see at least a few games with him

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Gofnut999</b></div><div>That leaves them with 10 healthy FWDs. 11 if they sign Heinen.
Either they anticipate Lucic or Lauko will be good to go or someone is coming up.</div></div>
I would assume Looch is getting close, Monty said there’s a good chance he goes next game.
Lauko is a tough dude, could see him not missing a game and playing with a cage

Mirchell likely going down to make room for a FW due to injuries.</div></div>
According to the transactions, he was sent down.

Based on camp This should be the team
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>bhavikp27</b></div><div>Based on camp, it's pretty clear Lohrei needs work on his defensive game; not being rushed and facing top NHL players every 2-3 days.</div></div>
Although I think he needs work, he has looked leagues better than Forbort… he needs to be given a shot

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Gofnut999</b></div><div>They are not exposing Boqvist to waivers to keep McLaughlin who is waiver exempt.
I’d like Mac to make the team but there just isn’t a spot for him.
And if we are being honest…Lohrei has been miles better than Shatty, Zboril, and Mitchell. 🤷🏻♂️</div></div>
Very true, they probably won’t expose Boqvist but Marc has definitely looked good!
I love Lohrei and think he can absolutely contribute to this team over Shatt and Forbs but not sure the 3rd line is for him.
Mitchell should definitely earn the spot of 7th D over Zboril

I hope he does make it out of camp. No better way to learn than giving him that 2nd line LD. Can always send him back down

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ON3M4N</b></div><div>Don't see Lauko clearing waivers and Greer isn't worth the roster spot</div></div>
Lauko has a two way contract this year so doesn’t need to clear waivers. But to that point, I do see him being up with the team majority of the year now that you mention it

IMO they are wild card team, but wonder the effect of loosing bergy and Krejci. They still have one of the best defensive corp in the league.</div></div>
Like the above comment, Defense and Goaltending is still very good. As much as the offense is lacking, I still do think this team is a playoff team. And we all know anything can happen on the playoffs lol

With Boqvist what now Is Bergeron done
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>littlejerryseinfeld</b></div><div>Because they signed someone to a league minimum deal?</div></div>
Because they now have 5 mil to sign Frederic, Swayman and Bergeron.
They would have to move on from Forbort or Gryz. It’s insurance in case he doesn’t come back

Really the only way they can fit Bergeron is to trade on of Gryz or Forbort

In a lot of my other posts, I have them trading Forbort but honestly, at this point you need him as that PK shut down guy like he was all year.
As far as Brown, he only has a one way contract so he’ll be up. Not sure he’ll play every game but after watching some of his highlights, he’s a bigger body who can fight and plays the Pk pretty good.

I do not think Scheifele one year retention would cost more than a 1st, prospect, and a later pick
