<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GenXHockey</b></div><div>Bruins would most likely fold the franchise before trading hall to the leafs. Garland trade is bad for the leafs. Can't see us having any interest in him. The murray dump I get. But they may be sending him to the island.</div></div>
1. Bruins might, but they surely realize their time is up. Offices don't have the same rivalries as fanbases do. If Toronto is making an offer to take a player they would like to dump off their hands, I'd imagine they'd listen. Especially when a first and solid prospect are involved. I did come very close to going the Arvidsson route, but ultimately chose Hall due to him being a Toronto boy and a more proven performer, but Arvidsson could easily take that place if you would like!
2. Garland, as I wrote, I find to be underrated. Does he make a lot? Yes, however he is more than capable of living up to it and outperforming in the right situation, and he brings the elements that Toronto lacks. Imagine Kerfoots speed and defensive game coupled with Buntings heart and ability to score. It's a nice mix.
3. Murray won't be an Islander imo. Sorokin has the ability to play lots of games, 0 reason to have a 4.5M backup. He could realistically go anywhere, but I felt with the uncertainty of Hellebuyck, Winnipeg just felt right.

Jets 2022-23
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jets_Fan_Mike</b></div><div>Why not? He'd have the chance to win multiple Cups with McDavid and Draisaitl and he wouldn't need to score much as the shut down 3C with the Oilers since Edmonton can outscore pretty much every other team with McDavid and Draisaitl and any forwards that end up playing with those two.
As I understand it, since McDavid started treating the NHL like his own personal video game with him on cheat mode, other players have been happy to go to Edmonton whereas the Jets are one of the teams that have the hardest time with NTC restrictions in contracts.
For this reason, I think Lowry jumps at the chance to move to the Oilers if he's presented with that option since everyone seems to the think the Jets are at best a playoff bubble team that's teetering on the brink of a rebuild.</div></div>
Just doubted because long term deal, and because of his dad, who I just remembered is now gone. Maybe more plausible than I thought

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jets_Fan_Mike</b></div><div>It would be interesting to see if the Oilers would do a Puljujärvi trade for Adam Lowry. $3,250,000 AAV for the next 4 seasons with Lowry, so the cap hit is close to Puljujärvi's $3,000,000 cap hit for this season and then Jesse probably costs more than Lowry after after this season on his next contract.</div></div>
Interesting but cant see lowry waiving

Knights 2022-23 20
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Canucks33</b></div><div>Vegas would do it if they are going all in, which is just Vegas being Vegas. The Canucks lock up a core 3C in Roy who is a perfect fit with our forward group, land a talented prospect who's coming into a great Russian environment now in Vancouver (Podkolzin, Kuzmenko and Mikheyev are fellow countrymen) with a high ceiling and a pick in this fabled draft. I think it helps out both teams just fine, depending on how much the Canucks like Dorofeyev.</div></div>
Just can't see how Vancouver will do it just yet, they'll wanna wait it out and try and compete first. Maybe a deadline move, not a pre season move

This is actually interesting. Can't see either team pulling it though due to both wanting to compete and being rivals. I do love the value though

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>aadoyle</b></div><div>That and there are 2 very good goalies available at the same time

Like honestly being stuck with 5 years of Campbell who's resume is 1 year starter or Kuemper whose 32 and is very streaky and could become Grubauer or Bobrosky 2.0 would make me more nervous as if they suck your stuck but if Samsonov thrives but Murray meh pay a 2nd dump him to Chicago with 1 year left and try again.
Also yeah Bunting aint getting alot agreed
I feel hes gonna sign a deal similar to what Paul signed for</div></div>
It isn't the bunting deal, its the Weegar, Fast and Jarry ones that bother me. No need for any of them unless you want matthews to go

Canucks don't make that Murphy trade, if they do, they'd do 1 for 1. Not adding a pick.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SociallyHawkward</b></div><div>Take out Murphy and the hawks might consider it but probably still decline</div></div>
Opposite ends meet now lol.
My logic is, Murphy is better and has a better deal. I actually would have done more just to move Myers in all honesty.

No, the term deals have secured Matthews walking. The reason the leafs got Murray was because he is up at the same time and opens up 4.5M to sign AM34

I mean, I'm just playing around with ideal off-seasons while still being reasonable. Hawks get a free pick and added cap hit to reach the floor late. It was a hard value trade.

Could be possible with Tarasenko. I wouldn't be surprised if the Blues pulled something similar on Krug that Tampa did with McDonagh. Either waive or we waive you. And for Krug, the left is clogged, so they'll take away minutes.
I guess we will see
