Moves well on straight lines - has the ability to walk the offensive blue line laterally and direct pucks on net from range. When time and space open up he has a heavy/hard shot that can beat goaltenders on its own. Has potential for second unit PP duty. Relatively lean looking. Average defender. His spatial awareness is sound but he has to jump to space to interrupt plays or win puck battles quicker.
