Their numbers are very similar and Petro is a Righty. Housley has said that he prefers balance in his top 4. That's pretty much why I made the move

Kane will return a lot more than a couple of "B" prospects (2014 2nd and 3rd round picks) and a late 1st. You know I hate this trade because DATM should have taken Barbashev, I instead of Lemieux.

Look at the Mogilny trade for a clue of what Kane will return. Goals are much harder to get now and kane is much more physical Mogilny. Kane may not bring back as much as Duchene but it will be close to that, a good player, a good prospect and a 1st.

Uh, Kane is a scoring winger. He's going to return what other scoring wingers have returned in the salary cap era, and a trade in 1995 has no comparisson to today's NHL.

Andrew Ladd compares statically to Evander Kane, was in a similar contract position, has similar future earnings expectations, and was traded in 2016 for a B prospect and a 1st.

Kane is going to give you a B prospect and a 1st.

      St. Louis doesn't have a 1st Rounder in 2018.
It went to Philly in the Brayden Schenn Trade.
